The insurance company "European Insurance Union" was registered in 2005 in Kyiv. The company actively strives for leadership in key sectors of the Ukrainian insurance market in order to provide policyholders with quality services.
Among the goals of the "European Insurance Union" Insurance Company is to get into the TOP-30 insurance companies of Ukraine by key indicators. The company actively promotes the development of its own regional network.
In 2005, the insurance company received a certificate of registration. The company's authorized capital at the time of registration was 21 million hryvnias. In the same year, the insurer began to build a sales system and develop an agent network.
In 2008, the "European Insurance Union" insurance organization became a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine. In 2011, the company increased its authorized capital to 61 million hryvnias. In the same year, the insurer received membership in the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine.
A year later, in 2012, the insurance company received associate membership in the Motor Transport Insurance Bureau of Ukraine for compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners.
In 2013, 30 representative offices were opened throughout Ukraine. The regional network of the insurance company is developing rapidly. Moreover, the company's development strategy involves expanding the network of representative offices. Currently, the insurance company employs 138 employees. The management is carried out by experienced management, which has extensive experience in the domestic and international markets.
In 2013, the company switched to international financial reporting standards. The insurer demonstrates stable financial results, thanks to which it repeatedly occupies leading positions in various ratings. According to the results of its activities in 2016, the company increased its main indicators compared to the previous year. Thus, in the Insurance TOP rating, the company managed to take 12th place in the OSCPV market in terms of the volume of insurance payments, with a payout level of 32%. The insurer also entered the TOP-50 companies in the CASCO market, in which it managed to take 45th place in terms of insurance payments, with a payout level of 58.14%. In the voluntary health insurance market, the company entered the TOP-30. In terms of the level of insurance payments, the insurer takes 38th place. On October 12, 2017, the European Insurance Union Insurance Company wasexcluded from the state register of financial institutions, and all licenses were also revoked.
