On May 19, the State Regulatory Service allowed the National Commission for Financial Services to conduct unscheduled inspections of insurers. The service reports this on its official website.
"Having considered the appeal of the National Commission for State Regulation in the Financial Services Markets, the State Regulatory Service agreed to conduct an unscheduled state supervision event based on a substantiated appeal by an individual about a violation of his legal rights," said the head of the department, Ksenia Lyapina.
The service allowed the following insurance companies to be inspected: European Insurance Union, Country, Providna, Oranta, Knyazha, Ukrainian Insurance Group, Kyiv Insurance House, Halytska, Dominanta, Renaissance Life, VUSO, Professional Insurance, Etalon, European Insurance Union.
The appeals to the National Commission for Financial Services were made on May 5 and 11.
