The Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine summarized the results of the market of compulsory third-party liability insurance of car owners for the third quarter.
Therefore, according to the published report of the MTIBU, The insurance group "TAS" topped the rating of insurers by sales volume: during July - September, the company attracted UAH 132.8 million in payments under "auto-civil" policies, which is the highest indicator on the OSCPV market.
In addition, the SG "TAS" took first place in the market in terms of the number of settled cases and the volume of payments made - during the specified period, the company compensated victims with about UAH 46 million and settled 2,821 insurance events.
According to the MTIBU, in total, Ukrainian insurers settled 27,644 insurance events in three months, and the total volume of compensation paid exceeded UAH 491 million. At the same time, the average amount of compensation for one case of "auto-civil" in the third quarter was almost 17.8 thousand UAH. The average settlement period in the market as a whole, according to the bureau's statistics, was 105 days.
The "TAS" insurance group entered the "three" of the undisputed market leaders in terms of settlement speed. Thus, according to MTIBU data, the company settles 78.4% of insurance cases within 90 days from the date of the accident. At the same time, the average settlement period for "auto-civil" in the company is 60 days.
We add that during July - As of September of this year, domestic insurers issued a total of 1,953,643 MTPL policies, of which 236.6 thousand were TAS SG policies. The total amount of revenues from the "auto-civil" policies in the market as a whole amounted to UAH 1.14 billion. The average insurance payment in the market amounted to UAH 583, in TAS SG - UAH 561.
