So, according to the company, only under the compulsory third party liability insurance policies of car owners, the victims were paid UAH 15,079,483 in insurance compensation. In turn, under land transport insurance contracts, clients of SG «TAS» were paid UAH 8,756,743.
It is precisely the CASCO contracts that account for the largest payments in December.
So, UAH 1.9 million in insurance compensation was transferred to the owner of a Mercedes GL 350 car, which was destroyed as a result of a fire. The extraordinary event occurred in the Kyiv region. It is worth noting that the entire process of settling the loss took only three weeks from the date of the insurer's notification of the insured event. The car was insured under the "Green Corridor" CASCO contract.
In turn, for the Renault Midlum truck damaged in the accident, the "TAS" insurance company paid insurance compensation in the amount of UAH 400,000. The driver of the car insured under the "Correct CASCO" contract lost control and the car crashed into a road fence. The accident occurred in the Kyiv region.
At the same time, the payment of the "TAS" insurance company for the Toyota Corolla damaged in the accident amounted to UAH 263,735. The driver of the car did not take into account the road conditions, which caused a collision with a Mercedes car. The accident occurred in the capital. The TAS Insurance Group, having studied the circumstances of the case, recognized the event as insured and, within the framework of its obligations under the Correct CASCO contract, promptly compensated the client for the losses caused to him.
Among the large payments that the TAS Insurance Group made during December 2017, it is also worth noting the compensation under the Green Card policy, which amounted to UAH 450,000. This amount was transferred to the owner of a truck that was damaged in an accident due to the fault of the company's insured. The accident occurred in Poland.
In addition, in December, the TAS Insurance Group made a fairly large payment under a property insurance contract - UAH 316,683 was transferred to the owner of a gas station complex in the Kyiv region. As a result of a collision between two cars near a gas station, one of the cars crashed into a gas module, which caused its explosion. The TAS Insurance Group, recognizing the event as insured, fully compensated the insured for the losses incurred.
Let us recall that, according to the results of eleven months of last year, the total amount of payments by the TAS Insurance Group amounted to UAH 330.59 million. In particular, under the compulsory "auto civil liability" policies, the insurer reimbursed UAH 114.49 million, under the "Green Card" policies - UAH 83.38 million, under the CASCO contracts - UAH 78.38 million. Accordingly, under voluntary medical insurance contracts for the specified period, UAH 32.74 million was reimbursed, under property insurance contracts - UAH 11.5 million UAH 5.23 million. Under other insurance contracts, SG «TAS» paid UAH 16.37 million in insurance compensation for eleven months.
