Last year was marked by a real breakthrough in sales for one of the flagships of the Ukrainian insurance market - TAS Insurance Group.
So, according to the results of 2017, the company's insurance revenues exceeded 1 billion hryvnias, amounting to 1,023.88 million hryvnias, which is 34.1% more than the amount of premiums collected by the insurer during 2016.
In particular, under compulsory third-party liability insurance policies, 290.34 million hryvnias of payments were collected, which is 28.36% of the total revenues and 39.7% higher than the same figure for 2016. The second place in the insurer's portfolio at the end of the year was taken by "Green Card", the amount of payments for which amounted to UAH 245.15 million, which is 23.94% of all insurer's revenues. At the same time, UAH 168.68 million of payments were collected under land transport insurance contracts for the year (16.47% of the total volume) - this is 47.9% more than the amount of premiums under CASCO contracts for 2016.
In turn, UAH 74.5 million of payments were collected under property insurance contracts, which is 7.28% of the total volume of revenues and 21.7% higher than the corresponding figure for the twelve months of the year before last. Voluntary health insurance occupies the fifth place in the insurer's portfolio with a share of 6.94%. Thus, under the VHI contracts, UAH 71.04 million in payments were attracted during the year, which is 55.4% higher than the same figure in 2016.
Accordingly, under other insurance contracts of the TAS Insurance Group in 2017, UAH 174.17 million (17.01% of total revenues) was collected - this is more than twice as much as in the year before last.
The volume of payments of the TAS Insurance Group last year reached UAH 371.34 million, which is 41.6% higher than the amount of reimbursements in 2016. The largest share in the insurer's payment portfolio - 34.55% - falls on compulsory "motor insurance" policies, under which a total of UAH 128.28 million was reimbursed, which is 65.6% more than in the year before last. More than a quarter of all the company's payments last year – 25.69% – fell on Green Card policies, the amount of compensation under which at the end of the year amounted to UAH 95.39 million. Not much less was paid by TAS Group under CASCO insurance contracts – UAH 87.53 million, which is 23.57% of the total amount of compensation and 62.3% higher than the same figure for 2016.
At the same time, the amount of the company's payments under voluntary health insurance contracts amounted to UAH 36.86 million (9.93% of the total amount) – this is 44.5% more than the year before last. In turn, under property insurance contracts, SG "TAS" in 2017 made insurance indemnities in the amount of UAH 5.38 million (1.45%), which is more than 2.5 times higher than the corresponding figure for 2016.
Under other insurance contracts, SG "TAS" paid UAH 17.9 million during the year, which is 4.82% of the total volume of indemnities and 85.2% higher than the same figure for 2016.
