TAS Insurance Group has published information about its largest payouts for the past year. According to the insurer's statistics, the largest insurance indemnities of the year fell on CASCO contracts. At the same time, the total amount of the company's payouts under only ten land transport insurance contracts reached UAH 9 million!
The largest payout last year for TAS Insurance Group was compensation in the amount of UAH 1.9 million for a Mercedes GL 350 car destroyed as a result of a fire in the Kyiv region. The expensive car was insured under the CASCO contract "Green Corridor". It is noteworthy that the insured event was settled by the insurer only three weeks after the date of notification of its occurrence.
At the same time, the repair of the same car, damaged as a result of a road accident in Zhytomyr region, cost SG "TAS" UAH 562,648. Two weeks after the date of notification of the insured event, the insurer transferred the compensation due to the client under the concluded "Correct CASCO" contract.
Considerable insurance payments were made during the year for cases of car theft. Thus, Insurance Group "TAS" paid UAH 1,413,431 for a Mercedes ML 350 stolen in Kharkiv. The car was insured under the "Green Corridor" contract.
In turn, the insurance compensation for a Range Rover SUV stolen in Yuzhnoukrainsk in Mykolaiv region amounted to UAH 1,121,314. The car was insured under the “5 Stars” program of the “EuroCASCO” contract.
At the same time, the insurance payment for the Land Cruiser Prado SUV stolen in broad daylight in Lutsk amounted to 818,487 UAH. The car was insured under the “Correct CASCO” contract.
The TAS Insurance Group also paid more than a million UAH, namely 1,016,760 UAH, for the Lexus LS 570 SUV destroyed as a result of a head-on collision with another vehicle. The accident occurred on a highway in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The expensive car was insured under the "Correct CASCO" contract.
Last year, the TAS Insurance Group also made a number of large payments for insurance cases involving trucks insured under CASCO contracts.
For example, UAH 630,000 was compensated for a Mercedes Actros truck damaged in a collision with another vehicle. The car insured under the "Correct CASCO" contract was involved in an accident in the Zhytomyr region.
At the same time, the TAS Insurance Group paid compensation in the amount of UAH 554,270 for a DAF truck damaged in a road accident. The driver of the car insured under the "Correct CASCO" contract lost control on a slippery road, as a result of which the car hit a bump and overturned. The accident occurred in the Zhytomyr region.
The repair of another truck of the same brand cost SG "TAS" a slightly smaller amount, namely 505,284 UAH. The DAF driver did not take into account the road conditions, as a result of which he collided with another vehicle. This accident also occurred in the Zhytomyr region.
And the "top ten" of the largest compensations for the year by SG "TAS" is a payment of 469,641 UAH, also for an insured event involving a truck. The driver of the Scania truck lost control, as a result of which the car skidded, flew into a ditch and overturned. The accident occurred in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
