TAS Insurance Group has published statistics on payments made for the second month of this year. Thus, according to the insurer, the amount of payments under compulsory third party liability insurance policies for car owners in February amounted to UAH 15,136,328.40. Accordingly, under land transport insurance contracts, the company's clients were reimbursed UAH 7,806,719.22.
The largest payments of the month traditionally fell on CASCO contracts.
In particular, TAS Insurance Group paid UAH 710,673 for a VARZ trailer damaged in an accident. The traffic accident occurred in the Odessa region.
Not taking into account the road conditions, the truck driver, while overtaking, hit another car with the side of the trailer, damaging it.
The trailer was insured under the "Correct CASCO" contract.
At the same time, the payment for the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado car damaged in the accident, also insured under the "Correct CASCO" contract, amounted to 409,719 UAH. Another car flew into the lane where the SUV was moving at high speed. Despite all the efforts of the Toyota driver, the collision could not be avoided. This accident occurred in the Kyiv region.
A slightly smaller amount, namely 400,000 UAH, was paid by the TAS Insurance Group within the framework of its obligations under the "Green Corridor" contract. The accident in which the insured Kia Sportage was damaged occurred in Cherkasy region - on a slippery road, a VAZ car crashed into the company's client's car.
A Land Rover was also damaged under similar circumstances, the insurance payment for which amounted to UAH 298,919. While driving along one of the central streets of Lviv, another car crashed into the SUV insured under the "4 Stars" program of the "EuroCASCO" contract, damaging the Land Rover body.
Among other large payments of the month, it is also worth noting the compensation in the amount of UAH 286,940 paid to the owner of a Toyota Camry car damaged in a road accident that occurred in Kryvyi Rih.
The client of the "TAS" insurance company did not take into account the road conditions, as a result of which he collided with a car moving in front. Camry was insured under the "Correct CASCO" contract.
In addition, in February, TAS Insurance Group paid a considerable insurance indemnity under a property insurance contract. A payment of UAH 355,502 was transferred to a banking institution for an ATM damaged as a result of a robbery. The insured event occurred in the Chernivtsi region.
In February, TAS Insurance Group also paid a large indemnity under the "Green Card" policy, transferring UAH 381,057 for the treatment of a victim in a road accident that occurred due to the fault of a company client during his trip to the UK.
As a reminder, in January, TAS Insurance Group paid insurance indemnities for a total of UAH 37.68 million. At the same time, the share of auto insurance contracts in the company's payment portfolio was 84.4%. In particular, during the first month of the year, UAH 15 million was paid under the mandatory "auto-civil" policies of SG "TAS", and UAH 8.8 million under the "Green Card" policies. At the same time, the amount of payments under CASCO contracts amounted to UAH 8.03 million.
