In Ukraine, the conclusion of contracts for compulsory civil liability insurance of owners of land vehicles (CLI) will be carried out both electronically and in paper form.
This decision was made at yesterday's meeting of the National Financial Services Commission.
The regulator approved the regulation on the features of concluding contracts for compulsory civil liability insurance of owners of land vehicles.
When approving the project, the Ministry of Justice did not support the norm on the transition to a single electronic policy 12 months after obtaining the document, believing that this would not protect the rights of all segments of the population.
«The Commission took into account the comments on the need to preserve two methods of concluding CLI contracts without time limits. There are no other changes," said Denys Yastreb, a member of the National Financial Services Committee.
According to him, the next step is coordination with the State Revenue Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Police, and the State Special Service for Communications.
