The Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine has published statistics on sales by domestic insurance companies of electronic policies of compulsory civil liability insurance of car owners for the period from February 7 to June 11 of the current of the year.
According to the data provided, during the specified period, a total of 15,652 policies were sold by insurers, of which 2,521 were sold by the Insurance Group "TAS". At the same time, the share of the SG "TAS" in the volume of e-policies sales was 11%, and the company itself took second place in the market in terms of the number of electronic policies sold.
Let us recall that Ukrainian drivers have been able to issue electronic policies of the mandatory "auto civil liability" since February 7, 2018. According to MTIBU, out of all the members of the bureau, 41 insurance companies currently have the technical capabilities to conclude relevant contracts, while only 29 of them have issued an e-policy at least once.

In particular, realizing that when filling out data for a policy, the client does not have the "right to make a mistake", which may become a reason for refusing payment in the event of an insured event, and taking into account the fears of clients due to the novelty of the project, the TAS Insurance Group took an unprecedented step in February. Moreover, at the client's request, all insured persons who have used the help of SG "TAS" employees when applying for an e-policy, they also receive a paper version of the document.
Thus, the company eliminates the possibility of the client making a mistake when applying for an e-policy, which is a guarantee of its validity and, accordingly, receiving insurance compensation in the event of an insured event.
