The accident, which damaged the Audi A4, occurred on one of the busiest avenues in Kyiv.
The client of the insurance company «TAS» lost control of her car, braked sharply, as a result of which the Opel Omega car, which was driving behind her, crashed into the Audi. At the same time, the insured's car crashed into a road obstacle.
As a result of the accident, the A4 had both bumpers, headlights, deformed trunk lids and hood damaged.
According to the experts' conclusions, the amount of losses incurred by the insured SG «TAS» as a result of the accident is 224,149 UAH. It was this amount that the insurer paid within the framework of its obligations under the contract, transferring money for the repair of the Audi A4.
We should add that the car was insured by SG "TAS" under the CASCO "Green Corridor" contract.
The main features of the specified land transport insurance contract are coverage of the maximum set of insurance risks, "zero" deductible, compensation if necessary due to the occurrence of an insured event, hotel expenses, tow truck, etc. At the same time, the terms of insurance payments under the contract are unprecedented: five working days for all cases that are settled without certificates from competent authorities, 25 days - in case of destruction or theft of the vehicle and 10 days - in all other cases. We would like to add that payments of up to 5% of the insured amount, as well as payments for insured events related to damage to glass elements, lighting fixtures and paintwork, are made without providing documents from competent authorities.
