On February 22, 2018, AXA Group published its performance results for the 12 months of 2017. Last year was a period of increased efficiency for the Group, which allowed it to achieve the best profitability indicator in its history.
«We continue to successfully implement our Ambition 2020 plan. In 2017, the Group grew effectively in all priority areas and in all regions where AXA operates. The fastest growing segment last year was Health, in which revenues and profits increased by 6% and 11%, respectively.
In accordance with our strategic vision, we are constantly expanding our prospects to provide people with the opportunity to live a better life, in particular, we continue to transition from Payer to Partner status. The Group also continues to lead the insurance industry in innovation, including in the fight against climate change, for which we are quadrupling our commitments to «green» investments.
