The National Commission for Financial Services, by order No. 253 dated February 22, 2018, revoked the licenses issued to the insurance company "Zdorovo" for carrying out economic activities in the provision of financial services.
According to the notification on the regulator's website, 13 licenses for voluntary types of insurance and 12 for mandatory ones were canceled.
The order states that the reason for this decision was the company's refusal to conduct an inspection by the regulator and the failure to provide documents upon the written request of the National Committee for Financial Services' inspection group.
The order comes into force in 30 calendar days.
In early February, the Supervisory Board of Zdorovo Insurance Company terminated the powers of the company's top management: Chairman of the Board Roman Dunaevsky, Board members Galina Pishakova, Kateryna Barybin, Lina Horishna on the basis of the submitted statements.
In addition, by the decision of the Supervisory Board dated February 12, the powers of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board Anatoly Lyulin, who owns 9.5% of the insurer's shares, and Supervisory Board members Vitaliy Dymchenko (7.85% of the shares) and Anna Semenova were terminated. They were dismissed from their positions based on a written notice dated January 29, 2018.
From February 1, 2018, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health of Ukraine excluded the "Zdorovo" Insurance Company from the list of its members due to arrears in payment of contributions to the bureau's funds for two months.
