The insurance group TAS has published data on insurance payments made during the last autumn month. Thus, according to the insurer's statistics, only under compulsory third-party liability insurance policies for car owners in November, victims were compensated with UAH 13,696,716.81. At the same time, UAH 7,992,097.76 was paid under land transport insurance contracts.
The company's largest payments have traditionally been made under CASCO contracts. Thus, at the end of the month, TAS Insurance Group paid compensation in the amount of UAH 818,487 to the owner of a Land Cruiser Prado SUV stolen by unknown persons. The extraordinary event occurred in Lutsk.
In turn, the insurance payment for the insured Mercedes CLS 350 car damaged as a result of a collision with another vehicle amounted to UAH 562,648. The accident occurred in the Zhytomyr region. On the highway, another road user, as a result of unsuccessful maneuvers on the road, drove into a bumper, after which his car was thrown into the lane along which the Mercedes was moving. As a result of the accident, the front part of the insured car was damaged, and its owner suffered losses of more than half a million hryvnias. Fulfilling its obligations to the client, TAS Insurance Group paid the appropriate insurance compensation in the shortest possible time, thus accelerating the start of repair work for the rapid restoration of the car.
Among other large payments made by the insurer in November, it is worth noting the compensation for losses in the amount of $ 370,000, which was transferred to the owner of a Mercedes truck damaged in an accident. The accident occurred on the Odesa - Mykolaiv highway. While driving, the truck's front suspension broke, the driver lost control of the car, and it skidded into the oncoming lane, along which a Volvo truck was moving. As a result of the collision of the trucks, the cab of the insured Mercedes was damaged.
