AIG Insurance Company and the international antivirus software developer ESET present a new service for corporate clients «Antivirus Protection Guarantee». The program combines an antivirus solution with cyber incident insurance.
ESET corporate clients will be able to take advantage of the offer and issue an AIG insurance certificate after purchasing or renewing a commercial license for one of ESET's comprehensive solutions (over 50 nodes): ESET NOD32 Antivirus Business Edition, ESET NOD32 Smart Security Business Edition, ESET NOD32 Secure Enterprise. After activating the license, the client will receive a notification about the possibility of issuing an AIG insurance certificate at no additional charge. To use the service, you must fill out an application in your ESET Connect personal account and receive a ready-made certificate by email.
In the event of a cyber incident, the insurance company will help compensate for losses resulting from third-party claims and claims for system security breaches. The insurance coverage also includes the costs of technical expertise and data and system recovery, compensation for legal costs and costs of notifying data subjects.
