The adoption of the draft Law on Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance of Land Vehicle Owners (Register 3670-d dated 02/13/2018) may reduce unjustified refusals to pay after road accidents.
The former head of the Finance Committee of the Parliament, People's Deputy Serhiy Rybalka, wrote about this on his Facebook page, commenting on the results of a joint meeting of four committees of the Rada in Ivano-Frankivsk on Friday.
"We considered new rules for "auto-civil liability", which will strengthen the protection of the financial rights of victims of road accidents: the deductible will be canceled, and payments will increase. This is the goal of our bill. With its adoption, at least, unjustified refusals in payments for "auto-civil" or their delay, forgery of insurance policies, low level of service - all that is currently worrying motorists will be significantly reduced, he noted.
Let us recall that the revised draft of this law provides for improving the procedure for settling insurance cases by simplifying the procedure for reporting a road accident, regulating the procedure for assessing the amount of damage to the victim by entering a damage report.
It also contains regulations on concluding a contract for compulsory civil liability insurance of owners of land vehicles in electronic form, etc.
